Frontier Cooperative and Food Bank of Lincoln Unite Against Food Insecurity

(Lincoln, Ne) April 19, 2024 - Frontier Cooperative is proud to announce its partnership with the Food Bank of Lincoln in the relentless fight against hunger. Through the generous support of the Land O'Lakes Cooperative Member Match program, Frontier Cooperative has donated $2,000 to the Food Bank of Lincoln, with Land O'Lakes matching contribution.
With food insecurity gripping families across the state, Frontier Cooperative recognizes the significance of supporting local communities and tackling the critical issue of hunger head-on. By joining forces with the Food Bank of Lincoln, Frontier Cooperative aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need within the Frontier community.

The Land O'Lakes Cooperative Member Match program matches contributions made by cooperative members to qualifying charitable organizations. This doubles the impact of each donation and amplifies the reach of cooperative efforts to combat hunger and bolster food security initiatives.

In a separate but equally impactful gesture, Land O'Lakes, Inc. has donated nearly 40,000 pounds of LAND O LAKES® Macaroni and Cheese to the Food Bank of Lincoln through the Land O’Lakes First Run Program. This significant contribution provides over 100,000 servings of food to the community.
The First Run Program, established in 2010, has exemplified unwavering commitment, donating nearly 7 million pounds of product to date. Committed to donating truckloads of fresh product year-round, specifically for food banks, the program serves as a beacon of hope in alleviating hunger across the United States.
